Bikes: Steve changed the oil and installed Goodridge stainless steel back brake lines.
Trailer: Sport Trailers installed an air conditioning unit to get ready for the blast furnace of summer at Willow Springs.
The need to get dirt bikes for cross-training was ever stronger after completing Danny Walker's American Supercamp in June. As luck would have it, Steve found a pair of Honda XR250 bikes for sale in the trader the same week. A '92 XR250R w/street-legal kit and 30cc overbore for Steve, and a '93 XR250L for me. We've been burning up the local housing developments every night since he brought them home.
We also started looking seriously at motor homes in June. After a lot of searching around San Diego and Riverside counties, we settled on a 27' 1989 Gulf Stream Sun Stream w/20k miles. It's in excellent shape. There's a big Chevy 454 under the hood to haul the trailer, it sleeps four and has all the usual home away from home appointments. Neither of us has any experience using a motor home, but I guess we'll find out.
